Introducing the ingrediants in our recipe and what role they play:
This recipe that my partner and I chose requires 9-10 minutes of cooking time, 1 bowl, a wooden spoon, and just 3 ingredients. The first ingredient is Masarepa (Cornmeal). Masarepa is a pre cooked cornmeal and is a key ingredient in various Latin American dishes. The next ingredients are water and salt. This allows the Arepa to have a bit of flavor and allows it to form into a dough. The last ingrediant is Oil, which allows the Arepa's to be cooked in the pan. All of these ingrediants will allow you to make the best homemade Arepa's!
